Singapore’s National Day 2020 celebrations took on a different shape as we encounter one of the most destructive pandemics of the century – the notorious COVID-19.

Despite this, it did not dampen the mood of our Kinderland children to celebrate the nation’s birthday! Besides the yearly tradition of donning on red and white colours, the children expressed their love for the nation through various activities. Crafts, singing of the national anthem, and reciting of the pledge were some common highlights seen across all our preschools. We learn to remember the date of August 9, when Singapore gained independence and has since overcome many challenges, emerging stronger.

Together with our non-Singaporean students, our children also learnt what it means to be resilient, to pull their strength together, and make Singapore a better place for all to live in.

Happy 55th birthday, Singapore! Majulah Singapura!
