A record 90-member Kinderland Marching Band took centre stage at Sports Fiesta 2026, delivering a vibrant performance that brought music, movement and excitement to the celebration of fitness, teamwork and family bonding.

Held on 10 October 2026 at the Singapore Institute of Management Sports Hall, the event brought together 209 children and 400 parents from all centres across Kinderland Academy and Preschools, as well as ELFA Preschool for a day of active play and shared achievements.

The opening performance featured the Kinderland Marching Band and Colour Guard, comprising Kindergarten 1 and 2 children from Kinderland Academy @ Yio Chu Kang and Kinderland Preschools @ Hougang, Marine Parade and Pandan Valley. This year’s ensemble introduced four timpani, adding greater depth and resonance to the band’s musical performance.

Our children bring the beat to life on the timpani, a new addition to Kinderland’s Marching Band.

Children took centre stage with a rousing marching band performance, delighting the audience with vibrant rhythms, lively beats and infectious energy.

Another highlight was the gymnastics formation led by instructors from JACPA Corporation, Japan’s largest preschool physical education provider, and Kinderland’s sports programme partner. Through coordinated movements and group formations, children demonstrated balance, coordination, confidence and teamwork.

Even the youngest participants joined in the fun. Toddlers aged 12 to 17 months took part in “Tiny Friends Parachute Play” and “Wheely Fun” alongside their parents, while older children enjoyed activities such as “Ball Buddy Relay” and “Dance Jam”.

A distinctive addition to this year’s Sports Fiesta was the “Bouncy Caterpillar Race”, where children worked together to move a giant inflatable caterpillar towards the finish line.

The excitement continued with the parent tug-of-war competition, where parents from Kinderland Preschool @ Marine Parade emerged victorious for the third consecutive year.

Beyond the performances and friendly competition, Sports Fiesta 2026 reflected Kinderland’s commitment to holistic development through music, physical activity and meaningful family engagement.

Kinderland extends its appreciation to JACPA, sponsors, participating families and educators for making Sports Fiesta 2026 a memorable celebration of teamwork and togetherness.
