On 2 November, Kinderland children played a meaningful role at this year’s President’s Challenge Night 2025. Twenty-four children, aged five to six from Kinderland Centres including Yio Chu Kang and Marine Parade, proudly took the national stage for their first-ever broadcast appearance.
After three months of dedicated training, the young musicians performed the lively “Colonel Bogey March” with bright smiles and infectious energy. Their well-rehearsed coordination and musicality drew warm applause from the audience, who were clearly charmed by their enthusiasm, discipline, and confidence.

Our children took to the stage with confidence, proudly presenting their performance of “Colonel Bogey March” to the nation.

A spectacular performance by our children, showcasing their impressive musical talents to the entire nation!
The President’s Challenge Night 2025, Mediacorp’s annual flagship fundraiser, raised S$14,980,947 (US$11.5 million) in donations to support 60 social and community programmes run by 52 organisations. The event was hosted by veteran presenter Steven Chia and 987 DJ Sonia Chew, with President Tharman Shanmugaratnam gracing the occasion as Guest of Honour.

Our dedicated team of educators who worked tirelessly for three months with our children in preparation for the President’s Challenge.
Kinderland is honoured that our preschoolers had the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful national effort. Their wonderful performance reflects their growing musical confidence. It also demonstrates the values of empathy, teamwork, and community spirit that Kinderland strives to nurture in every child.
