Kinderland Educare Services Pte Ltd has officially changed its business name to Kinderland International Education Pte Ltd (KIE).

Kinderland’s company name change is an extension and a representation of all the businesses we have. It represents not only how far Kinderland has come but more importantly, how far Kinderland will grow internationally.

The name change signifies that KIE is geared for growth to meet the ever-evolving needs for education. It reflects the diversity of its leading-edge services in the local and international markets. KIE has a strong growth trajectory in various education sectors internationally, such as early childhood education (EC), international school and early childhood teachers professional development.
Today, KIE and its group of companies is present in eight countries (Singapore, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangladesh and Australia).  It remains a wholly-owned subsidiary of Crestar Education Group Pte Ltd, operating with more than 120 centres in the region.

Kinderland Preschool has come a long and eventful way since 1978 as Yamaha Kindergarten. It has distinguished itself in the market using music as the linchpin behind a uniquely successful curriculum, proven to enhance language literacy and brain development in young children.

The inaugural annual Yamaha Kindergarten Children’s Music Programme (then known as Children’s Music Course) Concert held in year 1982.

From a music-infused kindergarten, Kinderland has amplified to be the first preschool in Singapore with Marching Band.

Kinderland has a strong collaborative culture and is actively engaged in wider corporate partnerships. To meet the growing need for child care facilities in workplaces, Kinderland partnered with government workplaces such as the Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of National Development, and Revenue House.

Kinderland’s long-standing collaboration with SAFRA (SAFRA National Service Association) since 2010 led to establishing six NurtureStars Preschools in all SAFRA clubs across Singapore. A co-government aided preschool, NurtureStars educational services, integrated with physical education in its core curriculum, is made affordable to more than 430,000 SAFRA members and their families.

NurtureStars is set to grow with another preschool slated to open in the new SAFRA’s seventh club in Choa Chu Kang, a “fitness oasis”, with expected completion in Q1, 2023.

Skool4Kidz, was appointed by the Early Childhood Development Agency in 2014 as a preschool anchor operator. Skool4Kidz provides quality, affordable and accessible preschool services for young families.

Singapore’s first preschool set in a public park, which has received multiple awards for its architectural design.

As part of its growth, KIE ventured into international education through The Grange Institution, a K-6 international school offering a future-focused education for students aged 3 – 12 years old.
