In celebration of National Day and community spirit, Kinderland Preschool @ Woodlands Civic Centre hosted its Kinder Bazaar alongside Family Day. The event united families, children, and partners in a meaningful showcase of unity, entrepreneurship, and compassion. With 121 children and their families and 23 educators, the celebration brought together close to 500 participants in total—a truly remarkable turnout.

Our preschoolers stepped into the role of young entrepreneurs, managing every stage of the process. From conceptualising and crafting handmade items to promoting and selling them, the children demonstrated creativity, confidence, and determination.
Proceeds from their efforts were dedicated to supporting the seniors of Lions Befrienders. This initiative, part of Early Childhood Development Agency’s (ECDA) Start Small, Dream Big and Kinderland’s Little Entrepreneur Programme, nurtures empathy, responsibility, and entrepreneurial skills.
The seniors from Lions Befrienders also participated in this meaningful event, engaging in joyful games with our children. Their laughter and interaction added warmth and meaning to the celebration, fostering greater inter-generational bond.

The strong support of our Kinderland families was instrumental in making this endeavour a success. Their encouragement, active participation, and generosity transformed the Kinder Bazaar into an enriching experience filled with laughter, collaboration, and shared pride.

Beyond sponsorship, seven Daikin team members joined us on-site, lending their time and energy to support the Kinder Bazaar. Their support at the booths eased activities and created a smoother, more engaging, and enjoyable experience for families and children.
Beyond commemorating our nation’s birthday, this occasion reminded us of the values that unite us. At Kinderland, we believe in the community spirit of raising confident and compassionate learners, who pledge in contributing positively to society.
