At Kinderland, we celebrate and cherish the special bond between mother and child, fostering a nurturing environment for both students and families. For Mother’s Day 2024, we went above and beyond to honour and celebrate the mothers of our beloved students.

Close to 1,000 of our mothers enjoyed this special day dedicated to them with special gifts of appreciation, fun bonding activities for mother and child, and performances from their very own children! Read on below to find out more about how Kinderland’s super mummies celebrated Mother’s Day 2024.

Sweet Treats for Our Sweet Mummies

Kinderland prepared tokens of appreciation to thank our mothers for their unwavering support and partnership in the development and nurturing of their child. The tokens of appreciation included a set of macarons, as well as a heartfelt thank you letter, expressing our gratitude for their invaluable role in the Kinderland family.

However, the most touching inclusion in the gift set was undoubtedly the personalised well wishes to the mothers from the children themselves. Each child took the time to craft a handwritten letter or drawing for their mother, expressing their love and appreciation in their own unique way. These heartfelt letters served as a poignant reminder of the profound love and bond between mother and child and their families.

Mother-Child Bonding Activities

Kinderland centres islandwide curated bonding activities for mother and child to celebrate the bond they share. Kinderland Preschool @ Hougang took mother, father and child on a trip to Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, and organised a variety of exciting activities for them to take part in. This included activities such as exploring the wildlife in the ponds at the park together, a hula hoop relay, running relay, and solving jigsaw puzzles together.

Kinderland Preschool @ Woodlands Mart invited our mothers and children into our centre to celebrate Mother’s Day together. They took part in different mother and child bonding activities. Namely, Zumba sessions with their little ones, high-tea sessions, and a “Pass the Parcel” game.

Performances by Kinderland Children

Children of Kinderland Preschool @ Woodlands Mart put up a variety of performances for their mothers. They performed on a per level basis, with performances from Pre-Nursery One all the way till Kindergarten Two. Our mothers deeply enjoyed the spectacular performances of their children, roaring in applause after each performance.

Children of Kinderland Preschool @ Hougang had unique performances for Mother’s Day, with parents being a part of their children’s performances too! We had mothers and even fathers who sang together with their child, danced together with their child, and even did a showcase of their Taekwondo skills.

We would like to thank our mothers for spending this special day with us, giving us the opportunity to celebrate them and the special bond they have with their child. We hope our mothers had a great time and we look forward to welcoming them to even more celebrations next Mother’s Day!
