Kinderland Cambodia

Kinderland will open its first school in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in early 2016, following our successful expansion within Singapore and in the region. We welcome our Cambodia centre into the Kinderland’s 60-centre strong network in countries such as China, Malaysia, Indonesia and Bangladesh.

The Phnom Penh school is a joint venture between Kinderland International Education Pte Ltd and Mr Taing Seng Por, a Cambodian-Chinese businessman with a deep passion for education. This passion has set him on a mission to search for the school that is most suitable in meeting the growing demand for quality preschool education in Phnom Penh. After much intensive research, Kinderland has proven to be the only school that fits the bill. Kinderland’s Phnom Penh centre will be located in the prestigious dictrict of Toul Kork and will occupy some 6,000 sq ft. Housed in a two-storey villa, the overall design and classroom set-up is undertaken by the professional team at Kinderland Singapore, with the objective of bringing a brand new learning experience to the children in Phnom Penh. As with Kinderland Singapore, the curriculum integrates the best education approaches and methodologies from the West and the moral values and social inclusiveness in the East.

Cambodia is developing rapidly and with it comes an increasingly strong demand for quality education and English-based instruction for children between 18 months to 6 years of age. Recognizing this, Kinderland Phnom Penh will use English as a medium of instruction in all its lessons. The centre will also be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities such as a computer-aided learning lab, keyboard music room and a conducive outdoor learning environment. Leveraging on more than 35 years of experience and a tried-and-tested bilingual curriculum, the children at Kinderland Cambodia will be provided with a strong foundation in their life-long journey of learning as well as preparedness for elementary school.
